I tried it last year and a deer came up and sniffed it. That's about it.

I can't blame MW. Endorsement contracts are complicated and who knows how or why he came to do their commercial. He has been expanding past Realtree in the last year or so.

I'm tryin to retire at age 50 so I can't blame the guy for getting paid for doing a commercial....

Please don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to argue. I've never used it, so I was assuming that you had and didn't have good results, given your strong conviction toward it. That's all.

I would think that you couldn't just pour a bag or jug out and expect deer to flock to it. If I were to use an attractant like that, I'd probably start in the off season to give the deer time to find it, and I'd put out several piles, not just one or two. Once a routine had been established, I make sure and "ring the bell" during deer season.

Anymore the ODC has show after show celebs endorsing the c'meredeer. Mike is just one out of several guys getting paid to say use it. They must have some deep pockets to pay all these folks to promote it.

I have tried it several times and the deer ignored it even in late season. Now that's here in Ohio and the stuff might not work here
