This is what we had to do in Burbank, CA back in WWII to camo up the aircraft factory. Pretty cool.

The history of camo is fascinating. I know during WWII they used a lot of artists to help camouflage locations. One of the more interesting stories that I recall was a port city that they spoofed. They strung lights in the harbor in the same pattern as the city itself so at night they killed the lights in the city and turned them on in the harbor. It worked very well since the German bombers dropped their bombs harmlessly into the harbor.
