OK is the my problem there is the huge coullee with wheat feilds on the west side and east side and to the south of it.I'm sure the whole area is there bedding spot since there aren't mush for tree's out here.If I set a stand on the west side do I want my scent blowing out to the feild?Wind always seems to blow from the west or should I set up on the east side?
![]() there is no deffinet trails to set up on to know were they are coming out. timba

Timba not knowing the area and what deer uaually do in it this is a guess. I would take a few evenings and glass the spot to see which field they are useing if its the west field I'd set up on the south east side of it. If they are feeding in the east field i'd try the south west of that one.

Post a topo of the area and show us the prevailing winds. Scent will rise up from the ditch in the A.M. and sink into it in the P.M. so you have to figure that factor in as well.
Did you pre-scout enough to show on the map where any trails, droppings and rubs are?

I ended up pulling the stand right out of the area.I have only one buck show up on my trailcam, the zone is CWD and there isn't many deer left so I decided to go 30 miles south to a different zone were there are more deer.So now instead of going a mile south of my house now I have a 30 min drive.
