Default Another Falls to the Slick Tricks

She went about 35 yards, 40 max. Easy blood trail, pass through, etc. I was with Nate at 4d again. Got 4 in the freezer and my sights on a 350 lb sow that's been giving me problems...and a bad case of goosebumps. Here she is. I hosed her off. She has a lot of red in her. I called her Little Red Riding Hood. BTW, I did already post the pics for the points if you've already seen the picture.

Not to worry, the place'll be a ghost town on opening day of deer season.

Yeah, I've had a pretty good run at them as of late. I think that was 5 over the past 6 weeks or so (4 in the freezer). I love hog hunting but I usually am NOT that lucky. I've just been trying to get in earlier and be quieter getting in and out and working on my scent control because of the 100 degree heat. It's just been a good couple of months. Ultimately, I believe God's just been taking good care of us (family) - all credit to Him.

Hopefully some dove next weekend (I had to work at Gander yesterday - slow day for archery...finally.
