This is going to be a HUGE black eye for all of Quebec. The Outfitters that are still in buisness will suffer from this also. This effected hundreds of hunters that have already paid up front.

Im really wondering "if" they really went belly up. They can tell you any story they want but the truth is another thing..................

In 2005 when I hunted with Mirage, a number of hunters staying at our Montreal hotel were left high and dry by one the Quebec outfitters. They contacted someone with Mirage and got them to open another camp for them. And as it happened, one guy took the new #1 SCI world record. Talk about going from bad luck to good luck! But a number of hunters did not get so lucky and went home with no hunt and no refund. I was told that two guys had driven from Texas and then drove back after being informed that morning that their hunt had been cancelled--bummer!

I would have been one seriously pissed off person. I probably would have tracked down the so and so that cancelled the hunt and given him/her a piece of my mind and then some!

i've heard of people calling and saying that the weathers not good and so on that they shouldnt come this year and rescheduling for no cost but to just take their money and nothing....

That is horrible! Thank goodness Safari Nordik has their crap together. They are one organized outfitter!!! No worries at all
I can't imagine what I would have done had I gotten up there and no room, no hunt, nothing! No, I know what I would have done...right there with ya, Monie! Well, I probably wouldn't have been allowed back on Canadian soil
