Default Quick fletch??
anyone use them yet? I dont fletch my arrows, maybe with these I can?

I shoot a martin jag set at 68 pounds, beeman 400g carbon with 100 g fieldpoints and 100 g expandables and broadheads.

I did. Flew ok for the first 12 shots or so, then Vanes flew off, and the glue actually let go on one of the white shrink wraps.

I can see these working really well for a quick field repair. But longterm uses... ummmm...

Cheri and I got a fletching jig, and took a free class. It's not too bad.

Rick were they Quick Fletch or another brand. The Quick Fletch by NAP have been working well for us. I know they did change the adhesive they were using. The ones we are using are working great.

I think they were extreme archery.

I'll stick with the jig though. I'm a bit of a control freak.

I like to make some up old school every now and then to. I just enjoy fletching arrows.

I've not had any problems with the nap quick fletch I have herd of problems with the extreme archery product.

I just put some on Rick's arrows this weekend, haven't had a chance to shoot them yet though. As stated above, the QuickFletch and Extreme Archery are two completely different companies NAP makes the QuickFletch. I've ordered some and will shoot them out of my Katera this year, but I've been concentrating on my Gamemaster recurve right now so I'm in Feather mode at the moment. Once season rolls around I may have to try and "pimp my arrow" (the smiley guy needs a grille!) and do some cresting and maybe splice some feathers!

Now when you say cresting do you mean wraps or actually dipping and painting?

depends how ambitious I feel, in the past I've painted them but with the ease of wraps....it's almost a no brainer unless you want something really custom.

I've screwed up some arrows we would never be able to use again trying that painting stuff. I just don't have the patience I guess.
