Default Elk Hunters...

As I explained in an earlier thread... Colorado Weather = Sybil.
"After a streak of record breaking heat, a very strong low pressure system will bring chilly temperatures and snow to Colorado on Friday."

How's the rain been out there this year Rick? Average? Above normal? Below normal (I hope!)

Looking to get an idea of how worthwhile "water" setups might be for elk when we come out there in another month.

believe it or not the local country and city goverments here are tring to get our areas declaired a "diaster area" .. because of the record heat and dry weather ... very very little rain and near 100 dec. most of the time here..

i hope it cools down soon here.. i just can`t take anymore heat.

Sorry Adam... I missed this one. I'd have to say average.

This is the info on Lake county:

Month-to-date precip. 1.03 "

Year-to-date precip. 7.42 "

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...KLXV&almanac=1

This chart is an average annual precipitation for your area
