Amen to that.
Our town is still trying to recover from the flood of the century. Our road is still out along with dozens of other roads. The estitmates for the main roads to be fixed is 11 million dollars. Of course our county does not have that kind of money. Still waiting on FEMA to do what they do. We didn't receive any damage to our home because it is on a hill, but many lost everything.

What a summer to remember!

I wish the people who went through floods could pipe some of that water down here to the Southeast. We've been in a drought for as long as I can remember. Seems like every year we get less than the "normal" rainfall; local farm ponds drying up, etc.
