Just heard from my brother-in-law. He's drawn a bull for our gun hunt in WMU 47. That means we'll have a chance for an adult animal on both of my hunts.

Wasn't planning on going up moose hunting this year but applied just to keep my name in pool 1 for next. Our group of five got nothing again.

The moose tag lottery here in Ontario is unreview as we speak so hopfully they can figure out an better system then the current one because it sucks!!!

Maybe it's for the best. You wouldn't want a moose running around your house anyway. I would play the lottery that gives you money, not a moose.

The Maine moose lottery is a very hard one to be drawn from what every one has told me. Even for natives of Maine say it. I've entered for the draw for 5 years now and just building points up. I ought to go to Ontario and get with the guides that R&V have used and go hunting with them for one. Might save me $$$$$ with the Maine Lotto.

sucks here in maine too. Seems like the same families get draw every year.

A local guide called me about a moose permit in northern maine for sale price $2500.00 U.S don't know if it is still available but could check if anyone interested. Tag is for zone 3 (good zone) and it's a bull.
