I kind of wish I would have looked into them too before I bought my quad.I think it would have been great for operating, with the price of gas.

I looked at one at a recent ourdoors show and asked them(the reps) the same question. I was told, depending on usage, the batteries may need to be replaced within 2 years. I can't remember the price quote but t was a little steep to my recollection. 'Course this was before gas went way the heck up too.

I heard 2nd hand they aren't all they are cracked up to be.
The motors are quiet but the chassis is noisy. Like I said 2nd hand so take it for what its worth.

Hi All,
Here is what we have found out with our BBB. First off they are the quietest thing you will ever have in the woods. Our front rack did rattle a little bit but we bent it back less than a 1/4 of an inch and no more noise. This thing will crawl over anything and I have proof it will climb straight up a wall, just ask Vicki or you can see the tire marks on our garage. (don't try this at home) Travel was cut down in very cold weather with the battery system, but that is expected in the cold. We normally get over 10 miles a charge after the batteries are broke in. We also learned you need to fill the batteries up with water, they are not a sealed unit. (Dah!!! on my end!) It runs about 20 miles an hour and slower going up hills, but they climb and we don't need to go fast in the woods, that is when accidents happen....(I know this first hand) All in all the BBB has had some issues but they are a stand up company and back up thier equipment and if you are looking for a sniper vehicle to get you in and out of rough country or pretty gentle stuff this is the bad boy you are looking for. ALso if you are looking to put food plots in and all that I don't beleive this is the vehicle for that, but if you want to move in and out of your area and not disturb anything.....it is the ticket. They have a new charger that comes with the buggy that you just keep int hooked up after you are done and it trickle charges in no time, and with the cost of gas today BBB will save in the long run. Hope this helps.

What I want to know is how do they perform in the snow? If you get 8 to 10 inches of the white stuff on the ground are you still going to get around?

not familar with the BBB, but they must be similar in size to the others....Razor, mules etc.
a friend of mine has the kawasaki one and when he is on a quad trail it is a workout to keep the extra width on the trail. its always going back and forth from side to side. for us in the north (alberta, sask and manitoba) i think either an argo or quad with tracks is the way to go, especially when you get in around some of the muskeg.
