I thought Georgia gave us a lot! We can shoot up to 10 does and 2 bucks, and we don't even have to be landowners to do that. Just make sure we buy our license before we go out hunting.

nice thing about landowner permits in illinois. they send them out with no applications after the first time. and we can shoot as many does as we want as long as you buy the permits. 2 bucks per year though.

That really surprises me about Muddy Creek Forks. I thought that area would be loaded with deer! My best friend and her ex used to live by the tracks. One big huge party down there Opening weekend for trout. I don't know of anywhere else in HC to hunt-My landlord doesn't let anyone else hunt or I'd invite you down.

You guys have no idea how lucky you really are. Here in MN. we can only take one buck per season regardless of the weapon and five does total.

It takes me over an hour to get to my spot in Howard County.

I have a few spots down around Stewartstown and Muddy Creek Forks...

But I never really see much down there...

BALTIMORE -- Deer hunters will be allowed at Loch Raven Reservoir in the fall as part of an effort to thin the growing herd.

Officials said deer overpopulation is threatening the area's water supply.

Details are still being worked out, but the first season could begin on September 15
