I have been searching high and low for someone who carries either scent lok or scent blocker coveralls that will fit my 11 yr old son.
Does anyone know where I can buy a set that will fit, preferably before his first bear hunt which is next month? ![]() The last couple years when I have taken him and his little sister deer hunting we have used one of my extra scent control jackets, but they are way too big and I want him to be comfortable and enjoy this experience as much as possible. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. |

Hmmmm.... Coming to think of it your right. I have never saw youth size scentlok. If I find anything I will post. Did you contact scentlok and ask them. Maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Haven't tried scent lok directly yet, but may have to go that route if nothing else comes through, and time is becoming an issue.

I have never seen youth size scent control clothing. If there were some I'd be buying it for myself
Youth XL What about men's small? You don't see them often, but would that come close to fitting? Here's a link to some size "S" Scent-Lok at sportmans guide http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/b...3157&search=GO

I've thought about the mens smalls, even though they will still be a little large on him, it would be better than one of my xl outfits.
Thanks for the link, I kinda like the scentblocker leafy pattern. |

If you absolutely cannot find anything for him. Wash his regular camo in scent free soap. Use the scent free dryer sheets AND sprinkle the clothing with baking soda before you bag them up. That's what Buddy Bill and I do, no moola for the spendy stuff, and it works well. We've had deer downwind of us many times and we have never been scented. Of course, we are super nutso on scent control, so I'm sure that helps. Our clothes are bagged until we get to our hunting spot. We spray ourselves down, even though we just showered, before we put our clothes on. Then, we spray the clothes and boots, just in case. We also spray our stands and packs and bows; etc.
