Got some more.
On the first drop, we let'm go and Sally just drove this track and was very mouthy on it. I thought for sure it was a deer. But it sounded like she located, but then silence. Tanner came treed then in the same area as Sal and as we got there Sally came in and treed. They had it, a nice big'n. Sally for some reason just does not like Tanner, but she's got to get over it.

This second drop we put one up right by the truck.

We thought we'd cut them in this woods again and Tanner went back up front to work and Sally went deep. She let out a couple track barks and then bawled that she was treed. It was a small tree, but lots of vines. Yep, she had'm! WTG Sal!! Tanner came into us as we were walking back up front, what she was up to is anybody's guess.

Actually, I'm getting another female Walker. She was going to be here yesterday, but she's been delayed. She'll be a half sister to Tanner.

Hey Laura I don't know much about coon hunting but those are some great looking dogs. I've got a friend in Ohio that I may go up and deer hunt with this year who coon hunts all the time his name is Mike Mcavoy do you know him.

He was late all the time. Must be a family trait.

Nice shots kiddo! I don't know how you could see the coon is in that one pic though when you put the pointer on. Even with the pointer I have a hard time seeing it. What eyes those dogs must have.

I've heard of Mike! Darn good handler! I think my dad has hunted with him. He had the Bluetick, Droop. I did an article on a friend of his, Steve Burkholder. Least I think they're friends.

More like Noses. Hope to get them out tonight, should be a good running night I would think.

Snuck out just before the t-storms, and Tanner and Sally started running a nice track. Soon though Tanner was the only one with it and she drove the track right across to the other side of the block. Threw a few odd locates and just hammered out the chops until I pulled her off. Bad thing, we couldn't find the coon in the darn tree, big old pin oak tree. I'm positive she had it as she was going no where.

I am having flashbacks to my youth. When I spend many a night running dogs through the riverbottoms with my dad, brother and grandpa's. Our dogs were mainly Blue Tick and some Black and Tans.
