Thats a very tough spot to be in. As much as it stinks, if you havn't already, I'd break the news to your wife and then see how she would like to handle it from there. If you had to cross a wooded area between your houses how big of a bother could your wife's cat have been?

And back to the stacked up part... What do you mean by stacked up? What were his intentions with the remains? Sorry, trying not to look at thinks like a cop...

Too bad we can't handle things like the cavemen we tend to be sometimes. LOL

AND for the record I am not a cat person either for the same reasons that Jeff listed but I also believe in being a good neighbor and a good steward to what we have been charged with.

FYI......a local kid got busted for shooting neighborhood cats with his bow and he was charged with a felony!!!

Not a big cat fan but we do have some (a couple I actually like). Plus, they help with the Copperhead and Cottonmouth population around the house and property. They do a pretty bang up job for us. I'd be pretty fired up and I never shy from a confrontation, family or not. It's inexcusable and needs to be addressed. Your neighbor needs to be accountable if he knew the cats were yours. He should have talked you about the cats before capping them off. My .02

personally i hate cats with a passion just because of bad experiences, but i beleive it is completely wrong to shoot animals for the heck of it..... except carp, and a rare squirral on occasion, but i eat them

side note you guys wont beleive me but ive seen cats with no tails and straight tails, but i have a cat with a curly tail anyone else seen one of those

i have a cat with no tail. they're called manx... they come from the isle of man. but i love her to death. i've had her for 13 years now.
