Trophy Bears....Spring or Fall?

I have been on both. Saw more bears in the spring saw the largest bear in my life in the fall. Going back to Thompson, MB this fall. Last fall saw a 600 lb. monster...never offered me a shot though. My guess is he was tree stand smart....came in from the back of the bait and never offered a shot.

The bears sure are bigger in the fall,I have always done spring baiting and wondered if the bears would hit the bait as good because there is lots for them to eat in the fall.
