I never had to turn my Thermacell on last week in Saskatchewan. All the guides up there swear by them and say they work wonders and have not decreased the bear harvest since implimenting them.

Thermacells work every bit as good on black flies as mosquitoes best thing since "sliced bread" just be carefull with using for scent or the next day you may have some uninvited guests in your stand
