Oh yeh, forgot about my epiphany in the deer stand....while shooting coons
I finally learnt how to bend at the waist...the first coon I shot at about 26 yards. The second coon I missed twice, just barely low....couldn't figure out why. Turns out I was aiming low thinking I would hit high from being 15ft up. Third time I had him at 25 yards, I put the 25 yard pin dead on....bullseye....dead coon

lol....yeah, there's not much of a difference, aiming wise, unless you're waaaaaaayyyyyyyy up that tree.
![]() I thought the same as you, jr., then I did the math...Uh, say what? I don't have to aim at the his toenails anymore? HOLY HANNAH! ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, I'm too po' to get one of those spendy range finders that'll calculate trajectory and all that.

That's the problem with hogs. They do what they want. There is virtually no internal clock going off with them. They don't come to calls and you can't pattern the critters. they're just plain tough on most occasions.
Remember: Can't win if you don't play! ![]() You'll get 'em.
