I read where you can make mock dust bowls. They say it attracts gobblers through out the day to check if a hen is dusting hersellf. It sounds to me it works something like a mock scrape. Anyone ever do this? Im gonna try it just to see if it works or not.

sounds like it could work if its in an area the gobbler frequents. it'd be interesting to try it and maybe put a camera over it.

To be completely honest, I had never even SEEN a dust bowl in PA until last season and I spend a lot of time in the woods!

i see dust bowls all of the time, but it's mainly on the dirt roads, very rarely in the woods.....let us know if it works for ya or not....
