Default Slow Going in Illinois
I have several friend out chasing 'em right now and after 3 days.....ZERO birds in the freezer.

I sure hope it isn't going to be a repeat of last year!!!

That doesnt' sound so good. Last year here was a big "nil". I am hoping for something a little better this time. We haven't been down to the cabin since late Dec and our tags are good starting Sat. Shame we didn't get to prescout, but such is life (There is no turkey season in the county I live in) We have friends in the southern zone just about 20 minutes south of our cabin. They had several good tom's 2 weeks ago but nothing right now while they are hunting.

That is going to change....saturday....one of us is going to put that old gobbler to rest!!!!
