CAN'T WAIT TIL 4/19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TAKING MY 7 YEAR OLD OUT FOR HIS VERY OWN TURKEY!!!!!!

WE HAVE BEEN PRACTICING SHOOTING. 20 GA. 25 YARDS

YESTERDAY HE WAS ABLE TO HIT THE TARGET.

I DONT KNOW WHO IS MORE EXCITED CJ OR DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

Teach your young ones to hunt and you'll have a new hunting partner for life. My three year old daughter is right in to it. Took her out last night just for a walk in and area that we always hear and see birds but very rarely get to shoot as they always stay on the wrong side of the fence. Was in the field just around 6pm. when I noticed a bunch of tukeys headed in to the hardwoods on the west side of the field. They normally stay on a neibouring peice of property to the east but looks as if they are now roosting in the hardwoods that we have permission to hunt. Going to keep an eye on them from a distance from now till the opening day. Try to get them patterned and have a look see as to what is in the flock there. Most of the birds around here are just starting to think about breaking up from their winter flocks.

The Main Season Opens For Me On 4/26 / But The Jr Season Opens On 4/19.

Then On The Way Home Yesterday Morning, I Get Off From Work At 7am. I See In A Small Field Close To Home / Which I Have Permission To Hunt. There Is 4 Toms And A Few Jakes With The Toms All Puffed Up With About 10 Hens. I Now Know Where I'll Be Opening Morning With Chris Junior.
