I would rather hunt evenings I tend to have my stuff together. Plus I usually see more. In mornings though I do see some nice bucks.

We hunt some of the same stands. I hunt them i never spook deer in this one spot in the morning. youngbuck goes in its a snort fest!!!!

I like to hunt mornings, but some spots are better evening spots..especially food sources.

I don't stink...I take scent elimination very seriously.
Just have bad timing I guess.

Evenings because if I go in the morining I'm always afraid to leave and usually stay until dark again.

So far, it's been easier for me to go in the mornings. I only get to go on weekends, and my wife and I lead a divorce recovery support group at our church on Saturday evenings before the evening worship (our church has 3 services every weekend - 1 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday morning). I would have to leave the woods before the deer start moving to get to my group on Saturday afternoons. But if I take time off from work, I will go whenever I can get time away from the house.

I enjoy mornings more but usually see more deer in the evening. Probably because I hunt mostly food sources...
