Whats a monster buck in your area?

In my area of Pa I would say shooting a 135-140 would be like shooting a booner in some of the midwest states. I must say though we are getting bigger deer in our area each year.

I thought a 150 class was average but there were some bigger ones taken this year,seems like lots of 160-170 class.A guy from my area shot a 227 non typical whitetail.

But on the most part alberta ranges from 130 to 200's

wow thats a good question., i would say a dandy would be 160-180 ., my buddy has shot 2 dandy bucks only miles from my house ., one was 174 gross ., and the other was 178 gross., and im only about 25 miles from the refuge ., and there is biggens in there.,

180's is a stud around here. lots of 120-140 (my giants) around here.

I'd say anything over 125" is a monster here in the NW of PA where I hunt.

I use to say 125 but my county is producing 150 -170 each year now.

People in my area to whom I've been showing my deer (see this thread) say mine is huge. At least for this county.

Yeah I would say the same for upstate New York anything over 125 would be big for here. But bull are you in an area with antler restrictions and do you think it is working? I hunt in sullivan county and this is the 2nd year for the area I hunt and it seems to working.

I might add that we are seeing bigger bucks, because of the one buck rule that was instituted 5 years ago.

You get one buck per year, no matter what weapon you use.
