How was your archery season?

I managed to get 4 doe and a small 7 point. Buck hunt was cool cause I got to get him in about 6 inches of snow. And we never have snow that time of year. Good luck to those that are still hunting.

I didn't get alot of time to hunt this year but wasn't bad I've shot three does so far, 1 being a piebald and a nice buck. I still have doe tags and a west river buck tag, hope to find time to try and fill that.

I have not been able to get away this season so far. Do to a divorce I lost access to my usual place to hunt. Not my divorce but a family member. The other place is a urban park hunt that's archery only and when it's gun season they ban hunting in the parks so I can't go till next week now. I have asked a bunch of folks for permission this year with no luck. I had one invitation earlier but could not leave work at that short of notice. I try to keep up on my shooting daily if I can. My pack is packed. My stand is hanging and I'm ready to hunt.

I'm planning on a 5 day west river archery hunt at the end of next week. I seen some really nice bucks in rifle season, i'm hoping for some colder weather and snow could be helpful to get them moving to food source. should be fun just alot of work to get blinds and stands set up 2 - 3 miles back in the hills, but thats why the big boys are there.
