What to do?????
These night raiders have dominated all of my trail cam action the last two weeks. 153 pictures of coyotes and ZERO pics of deer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it me....or is the yote in the third picture HUGE???? Any suggestions on how to get rid of these critters that only show up at night???

Sounds like its time to break out the calls and have some fun.
The best control measure is probably trapping, coyotes can be tough to trap if your not an experianced trapper but it can be alot of fun. You can contact a state trapper and they could trap for you or hunt them from planes, don't know how it works there but thats what they do in SD.

You got a bad problem cause they are very obviously hunting in a pack. A single yote isn't much of a problem for any deer but a pack is another story.
My guess is start hunting them this winter but right now they will cause your deer to move if they are out chasing the deer. My bet is they are. I'd walk the property to see if you can see any kills they made recently. I'd also take a yote call to the stand just in case you see one out during the day to bring in to range. |

That many together is a definite problem. A red covered light, a shotgun and an electronic caller should be just the ticket for some nite varmit smacking!(if legal). I'd pull the stand and camera and put it somewhere else.

Isn't one of the posse members an expert yote control hunter....he's on the forums or at least he used to be, can't remember his name though, he's an older fella
