Those all look like book bears right off. Looks like they are coming in during day too and that means a successful hunt coming up. Need any bow hunters ?

Default How Big?

Can anyone give me an idea of judging sizes of bears.

Here is a picture of one I have on camera. I think my rock is about 38" off the ground.

Is there a general rule, say 40" at the shoulders is around 300 pounds, 35" is around 200 lbs, etc.

Thanks

Default Acorns?

Huntinguide

Are you seeing your baits slow up due to acorns? I have a couple of friends who's baits are cooling off. Just curious if they are still hitting hard for you. I live only 1/2 hour from you to the northwest.
