Anyone here ever hunt WMU 501 in Alberta for Black Bear.

I've been asked by several folks to go on a black bear hunt next May in WMU 501 Alberta and was wondering if anyone had hunted there and/or had any information.

javi I have been looking at it too. There is one outfitter that comes highly recommended. I have not checked out what they charge and it's not on their web site but the bears are huge on their website.

Up... anybody got any information on this WMU that is just south of Cold Lake, Alberta.

I've been told WMU 500 around the frog lake area has lots of bears.One of the bigest bears I have ever seen was shot around cold lake.This bear was massive,not sure what zone the guys were in.
