Gotta work tomorrow...major bummer, BUT I have the 2nd off, as requested! Gonna go whack a few doves AND I CANNOT WAIT!! I am sooooo ready! I'm gonna break my gun down tonight and give it a good cleaning.

Buddy Bill and I went up last night and looked at the different fields. Good thing we did! We might have been out of luck if we'd just gone up and picked what we "thought" to be the best. Turns out, the best spot, that we saw, was a little bitsy field, about 100 yards long, BUT it had HUGE sunflowers in it, it was nice and clean and we jumped a bunch of dove out of there! HA! I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready ready ready ready ready!!!!

Did I ever mention that I cut my hunting teeth on doves?

How many did ya end up with?

I got asked to attend a shoot this Monday. One of those old fashion, get togethers. A real social event with a cook out following. haven't been to one of these in years, so it should prove to be a treat.

Buddy Bill nailed every single one he shot at! I, on the other hand, got nothin' but dove butts. I used to be able to nail the heck out of 'em. I guess I need more time on the range...and a new pair of glasses. (*~*)
