2nd Rut

I got in stand about 3:30PM. Cool to cold and sunny with light breeze. Bow is ready now I need to see a buck!

At 4:30 behind me as I sat in ladder stand the BIG 10 pointer showed up. He may have looked at me but I stayed still. He did not come over but slowly walked down the hill and up the other side.

About 5 minutes later a small 4 pointer followed the same path.

A few minutes after that there were several does coming up the draw.

Too bad tomorrow is Sunday!

Forecast was this was going to be a good time and it was, the second rut must be in!

There was a lot of gun fire up on top of the draw Bucks seemed unconcerned.

Too bad you didn't get a shot at him! I haven't seen much for activity lately.
