Haven't bought camo in over 15 years and am wondering what the thoughts are out there on the Medalist SilverMax gear with regards to the scent control. From their website it appears to be low to no maintainance - no putting in the drier to reactivate, etc. Any one with any experience with this versus the other scent control brands?
Thanks in advance, BucKat |

Buy the best camo that will blend in your area and a big bottle of Scent away spray. Started using Scent away spray last year and can honestly say that I never spooked a deer that I know of. I even had a doe at 3 yards for 15 minutes and she could not figure out hat was in the tree, never did spook.

Do you have a web site for this? I don’t know any thing about this brand. But, if you don’t have to reactivate it, it's probably is not carbon based. Carbon based scent control clothing is the best at trapping the broadest array of human odor as far as i know.

I think they are right down the road from me. I would stick with scentlok. I know people debate its effectiveness. But I think it works for sure. I did a test with a deer tracking dog years ago. We drug the deer for maybe 100 yards. Then we covered the deer in scentlok and drug it another 50 yards. The dog could not pickup the trail where we had it in scentlok. I know you guys are thinking how we got a deer in scentlok. It was a Maryland sika deer and they are pretty little.

I use all the Hunter's Specialties stuff. I love the dirt wafers especially.
This is a bit harder to find but I like how you can make it fresh and don't have to worry if it broke down in shipping or sitting on a shelf: http://www.atsko.com/products/odor-c...dor-spray.html Also check out their UV spray stuff You don't need the Scent Lok stuff. Too much $$ and the options to it work as well if not better IMHO.
