I've been looking at ground blinds and yesterday I came across the ameristep dog house on sale for 50$ at cabelas so I ordered one.Its not the camo design I wanted(realtree AP) it was tango camo but might go good with the fall colours. But does any one know how they are for bow hunting out of?

I'm 6'2", and I've not had any issues hunting out of mine. If you're the only one in it, there's plenty of room to move. If you take the kids (as i do mine on occasion) it can get a little bit crowded...but strategically placed, you still have room to get the job done.

see if you can locate the Double Bull Matrix RECURVE model or ask Primos if they do custom sizes. I have one and that extra height made all the difference!

I have been looking too, but I haven't got a place to put it out. We have a line on hunting land in Oklahoma, but there are tree houses already built so... I'm having a hard time justifying it.

The DB Matrix RECURVE blind will give you the flexibility to try different spots on your property without the deer 'learning' where you may be; if you want to hunt deer when they get within a very few feet of you on the ground, that is some rush. Maybe there will some on eBay or call Primos and see if they will do a custom sized blind like DB used to do.

I got my blind in yesterday and shot a few arrows out of it and its all right but if I sit to close to the front the arrow sticks out to draw and if I'm to far back my elbow hits the rear wall. But for the price of it I'm happy with it.
