ok ya'll, time for more imput. i bought a trykon the first year they came out, and i love the way it shoots. the next year hoyt came out with the vetrix and it had a S.S.S. on it. now the katera also has it on them along with alot of new bows in the cabela's 08 archery catalog, which i just got done looking through for about the 100th time
other than capturing your string and elimating string buzz, what are the advantages to these systems and are they worth it? its 40 bucks in cabela's

In addition to vibration and noise dampening, you'll also gain speed. When that string is suddenly stopped, most of that energy is applied to the arrow shaft. In certain situations it could make all the difference!

If your looking for quite and vibration free, you'll love it. Put it on one of todays quite bows and it still helps
. As far as speed goes you should get a few FPS.
