As far as measuring the animal for mounting goes.......all manikins are designed to represent the carcass of the animal. To be honest though, the measurements on a bear won't make that big of a difference. The only one that will be a little off is the belly circumference but there is a lot of stretch in bear hides.
Try ordering a deer form after you get the measurements with the hide on and you will understand what I am talking about.
Like I said........all manikins are designed to represent the carcass, not the live animal.
