Went and fished the Rainy River on the Minnesota/Canada border last week. It was a blast caught some nice walleye and sturgeon. My biggest walleye was 27 inches and my biggest sturgeon was 57 inches long with a 23 inch girth. My buddy hooked into a monster sturgeon it was 71 inches long and had a 32 inch girth estimated at 112-115 pounds, the DNR said it is among the top five ever recorded.
It took about an hour to get it in the boat, they put up an amazing fight, can't wait til next year.
