Most noteworthy are three modes of IR Super Night Shooting--which enables monochrome image acquisition in the dark by using an infrared LED--extensive digital-zoom options, and LumiFlik (CNet.com Review)
1. On the right-hand grip you'll find the power button, the primary record button and zoom toggle, and a customizable button.
2. Flip out the LCD, and you'll find audio adjustments along with a number of camera-control options.
3. Just below the LCD are playback options, customizable buttons, and a range of image fine-tuning controls.
4. XLR ports for hooking up pro audio gear are built into the AG-DVC60.
5. On top of the sturdy handle you'll find a secondary record button and a zoom toggle.
6. The AG-DVC60 records to standard MiniDV cassettes.
7. Battery life with the standard cell is good but not spectacular, lasting two to three hours.
