I've been practicing with my slate call and its been sounding good, but I lost all my sound, I think I got something on the call or something.
I did wipe the face of the call on my jeans to get something off it, and it just kept getting worse, now I can't get anything out of it.
What kind of maintainence do you do to a slate call, it was sounding so good and now nothing and turkey seasons right around the corner.
If you can tell me what I screwed up and how to fix it I would appreciate it. The striker also looks like its really smooth on the end, like its glassed over, is that normal.
