Been practicing with mine every night and I think I'm finnally getting used to a slate call, got that thing sounding good.
Was on the phone with one of my hunting buddies last night, we were both watching the outdoor channel, and I started playing with the slate call, my buddy said, what channel do you have it on, I said I was just playing with my new call, he said that it sounded great, so if I can't call in a turkey at least I can fool my hunting buddies.
