ALways is the way the big boys around here also are usaully victims of deer/vehicle crashes. One of the 3 year olds that has been running around my hunting area was killed just and week ago by a car less the 500 yards from one of my stands. We did pick him up for my brother in-law to use for hamburger. Had some good genetics in his blood.
Around here it is nice because alot of the big buck don't come out of hiding till the late season and theyhave learned to stay away from the crownland. During the late season if I'm still hunting I can always count on seeing at least one buck that will score close to 160" wether I get a shot at him is another story. Seen an 12 pointer with double droptines last year during the late season for muzzleloaders an hour after I'd tagged a fawn for the freezer never had another tag for the week so had to let him walk. His shed were later pick up and they scored close to 200"NT I have heard. I have never seen them as of yet.
