sorry for the misprint...its actually 18000 acres with about 15% being forest the rest crop or pasture!!
today i went out to set some trail cameras and had two encounters with a bull moose and cow. didnt have a moose tag for that area, but i did manage to stalk to 30yds of both of them. she got nervous and bolted and the lad followed. ill download some pics i got from it.
i also had a coyote walk past me at 60yds, only to see my truck parked down the hill. he turned and ran directly at me. I swear he kept running right at me til about 10yds and realized i was standing there trying to stalk the moose.
