Well to make along story short. My buddy in NH handed me a piece of paper when i was visiting him. Here it was the notification that he drew a moose tag. He said to me here is your moose hunt you are my subpermitee. I couldnt believe it!!
They have a 9 day season. I told him the first 4 days I will hunt with the bow for a bull only. After that I will use the gun and shoot first descent one that gives us a shot. Well first day with the gun I hunted maybe 15 minutes and saw 7 cows. I shot a nice cow at 167 yards free handed. (Dont even say it Firediver I know what you are thinking!
) Now I really want a bull!
