I got an JVC HDD Everio last summer for the family but I think it has seen more use as a hunting camera then a family camera. Like it alot as it is so small, fully digital, 32X zoom then 800X digital zoom works like a charm. Also has an little remote for it so you can film yourself. Took it turkey hunting this spring never did get any good kill footage on film but did get some jake footage on some that we pasted on early in the season.
