On my way into the office this morning I saw a coyote in a cut bean field from last year trying to sneak up on a pair of sandhill cranes. I pulled over to watch for a few minutes. The yote would lay flat to the ground...and sort of belly crawl up on the cranes. Once he'd get 'too close for their liking' they'd expand their wings and kind of flutter off about 50 yards. Yote would sit up watch a while...then get down and try to sneak up on them again. Days like this morning make me wish I'd a had my camera with me.
You call it learning... I call it LIFE.
