Welcome...glad to hear that Hoyt was your first love(hopefully your only)! Supposedly...Hoyt dry fires every new bow 1500 times and it will not make it into production if it shows any signs of damage...

Greywolf(screenname) has a very similar setup to the Trykon XL and I have a Trykon XL with the same setup with the addition of a half inch of draw length and I pull 70#...He recommended the 125 grain...

The bow is performing as well as it can with my setup, in fact its perfect. I was just considering upgrading cams if it will improve the bow further. It is a very nice bow. I dont want a new one...

Thanks for the advice! It is really helpful when you find someone shooting the same bow. I really like the trykon. You are right they shoot great at long yardage. What kind of strings do you shoot?
