Actually, when I was moose hunting in SK my native guides were kind of hoping that I didn't shoot a large bull so that I wouldn't mount it..... they were both fighting over who got the nose. One of them said his wife told him not to come home if he didn't have one. I guess they eat the jelly like stuff under the skin? But he also ate some of the intestines rinsed in lakewater:eek: He offered some to me....I told him he could keep it all for his tip:D

Aw well... to each his own.

Jimmie from my Alaskan moose hunt kept the tongue off my moose. It was soaking in a pot of salt water when I flew back to Illinois.:p
