Anyone ever hunt for bear in Nova Scotia? Was wondering how the bear hunting is. Size of bears, quantitiy of bears etc.

I'm from Cape Breton Nova Scotia i haven't hunted bear yet but I'm going to give it a try this fall.we don't have a spring hunt in NS only a Fall season.New Brunswick has a spring bear hunt i have a guided hunt booked in NB in June can't wait to try and arrow a black bear.Here is a good forum were you can get more info on the topic.

Iwalke4 we are going to monton.when i bought my tag it was for area 18.

ive hunted bears in NS...i used to live there...the bears are not bad...every once and awhile you hear of a 500lb getting tagged...not too much colour phases that ive witnessed or heard of...

theres some pretty good bear hunting here in nova scotia I havent missed a year yet.I have an uncle that guides for bear hunting here.... Big meadow brook outfitters
