This is my all time favorite Italian Beef recipe. You can use any "red" meat. We actually did up a whole deer this way then froze it in "meal" portions.
4 lb. meat
1 cup pepperoncini (more or less to taste) with juice
1 can beef broth
1 cup water
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
Combine all in crockpot and cook until meat falls apart
