Losing my Buzz
 

I've got a slight string buzz and want to know anyone's thoughts on screw in string dampeners/suppressors. Do they affect fps in any way good or bad? Any brands you'd recommend?

String Leeches and Bow Jacks work well. Give either one a try.

Cheri's Edge had a good one going. We put a Hush Kit on it. You may not need every bit the kit comes with, but the string supressors REALLY made a difference. HUGE!

I’m not a big fan of string leeches or bow jacks, they do work well but don’t last long. On the new Hoyt I had last year it took me 1-2 weeks to shoot them out. It took about 1000-2000 shots. I found that I like a sts style string suppressors better and get longer life from them. I use a mean v one, but there are other companies that make good ones too.
