looking for...
a good inexpensive (translated CHEAP) meat grinder that includes the sausage stuffing tubes. I want to be able to make my own deer bratwurst and other sausages.

I almost hate to say it, but look on ebay. We got ours a few years ago off ebay (and it is a work horse) for about 1/2 price.

Don't go with a hand cranked grinder! You'll just wind up getting ticked off!
Ebay is a good bet. Also, check out yard sales when the season hits. You could also save up the cash and get a Kitchenaid mixer. A multitasker in the kitchen is great! I use mine to grind the meat, mix the meat with the seasonings, then stuff the sausages! :) You can also use it for cakes and doughs and things like that...if you want. ;) lol |
I've always wanted a KitchenAid. We have a stand mixer that someone gave us as a wedding present, and it's OK, but it doesn't have the power and versatility that KitchenAid has.
I've been looking on eBay, too, but I keep getting outbid on the ones I've tried for. |
already have a multi tasker in the kitchen. called a wife.......:D:D:D

We have a kitchenaid and love it, used it on many deer and elk.

If you do go with just a meat grinder/sausage stuffer, don't get the cheap stuff. Most of the inner parts/gears are plastic. That's why they're cheap! You'd do well to save while you look and maybe get a new Kitchenaid if you can't win one on Ebay. :) |
i have a LEM grinder, .35 HP ., and it has done real well for me . ., i got mine for around 200.00 ., and it also comes with the stuffing tubes.
