bear hunts?
Hello
Just wondered how much good spring hunts cost in Alberta,Manitoba,or any of the western Provinces? I currently love fall hunting in Ontario. It is very inexpensive with awesome hunting and fishing. It would be fun to go northwest to try for a springtime pumpkin head!! For me it'l be coupla years of savin but itd always sumpin I wanted to do |
Bear hunt $$
It will generally be anywhere from $2500 - 3500 US. It pays to look around, as different outfits put together different packages. $3000.00 seems to be about the avearge, plus licenses, and a trophy fee for a second bear (if aval).

It depends what you want. There are places in Manitoba that are as low as $2,000 US including lodging but not meals. Others are $3,600 fully guided or all inclusive. You can also go on a bear hunt that includes unlimited fishing. These areas are usually located in the northern part of the province but are an all rounded trip. If the bear hunting is slow the fishing is usually excellent.
I am a Manitoba resident so I don't need a guide but if I did I would probably go for a bear fishing combo. But if you are looking for a better than average chance at a monster bear fishing would not sway my decision. Good luck with your search. |
thanks
Thanks mb!

New Brunswick
Check out Big Paw Outfitters in New Brunswick Canada. I have only gone on 1 paid hunt (went with my Dad and his buddy) in 2008. We were treated like kings and all camp tagged out. Price is $1500, took 300lb black bear 2nd night.
