Anyone else been out yet? Went out this weekend, caught a few crappie, perch and pike, preety good start to the season.:D

Dont trust the ice around here yet. Started to get some good ice then had a buch of rain. But has been in the negaive temps for 6 nights now should be getting good again.

We've got good ice, about 13-15" right now but the snow on the ice is making difficult to get around anywhere. There is 3" of fresh snow already this morning with more to come and the winds are supposed to blow 40mph.:mad:

Ice fishing around these parts just ain't safe. The rivers and lake in this part of Ohio don't freeze over for very long and ice is thin in some places.

Never been but would love to go sometime.

Here's a mess of perch we caught through the ice on sunday, three of us kept 59, threw back alot of small ones. :cool:

Fish fry!!! Perch it's what for dinner! They ought to be especially good out of that cold waters.

Took Zach out ice fishing for the first time. Thats just say he is hooked. We cought over 300 blue gill in about 2 hours. :D

Thats awesome MCFantail, thats a great day on the ice and I bet the little guy had a blast.:D

Fishing has been tough around here, way to much snow, can't get on the ice any where, and when you can the fish have been tight lipped.:( I did catch a few nice perch, one was just over 14".
