New bow search
 

Started my search for a new bow today. Shot the mathews reezen 6.5. I liked it pretty smooth shooter. considering it wasn't really set up for me it grouped nice. Actually sliced the fletchings on 2 arrows. Gonna go to a shop next week and shoot the alphamax and pse xforce. Then go to another shop and shoot bowtech. I wish there was a shop that carried all lines. Would be easy to shoot one after another then go back and forth. By the time I get to the end of my shooting I'll forget what the 1st one shot like.

Give POSSE member Tony a call, he owns Arrowsmith's in Lake geneva he carries Hoyt, Mathews, and I think he also has PSE but I'm not positive on that. It's a bit of a drive from Chicago 1.5-2 hrs but it may save you some chasing around in the long run. 262-249-9933

The bows for 2010 will be coming out in a month. Me, I'd wait and buy the newer model and not last year's model.

My guess is you'll be waiting till spring of 2010. After all the new flagship model from each manufacturer are introduced and available. That's my guess.

I know Mathews is advertising their new bow will be released the first week in November.
